  Sandia Mountain Snow Shoe Race - The 2006 Sandia Peak Snowshoe race is Albuquerque¿s only snowshoe race. It is a 4-mile race held atop the Sandia Mountains at an elevation of 10,678 feet. All proceeds from the race will go to the Sandia Ranger District and Friends of the Forest for preservation and maintenance of trails in the Sandia Mountains.

  Team in Traning - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk a whole or half marathon or participate in a triathlon or century (100-mile) bike ride. Since 1988, more than 295,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $660 million.

  Sandia Mountain Bear Watch - Sandia Mountain BearWatch is now a decade old. Our mission ten years ago and today is to help ensure a stable bear population in New Mexico. Our Sandia Mountain BearWatch Wildlife Steward program helps inform mountain residents and visitors to bear country how to co-exist with bears along with other wildlife. We have a 600+ membership based in the Sandia and Manzano Mountains that continues to grow statewide.

  Corrales Heritage Day - Corrales' spring celebration of its history is held at the Old San Ysidro Church and Casa San Ysidro in the village's old plaza on Old Church Road. It is usually scheduled for the Saturday before the Sunday in mid-May when a special outdoor mass is performed outside the Old Church to honor Corrales' patron saint San Ysidro.

  Mount Taylor - Welcome to the 2007 Mt. Taylor Quadrathlon. The Quad is a 42 mile race to the top of the highest peak in Northwest New Mexico. Mt. Taylor is 11,301 ft. high. The race constists of 4 parts; road bikes, running, cross crounty skiing, and snow shoeing.

  George Maloof Air Park - The ARCC flies at George Maloof Air Park, located on the West Mesa past the Petroglyph Park.
